Neith Stone is a builder. As a managing director at GFP Real Estate, Stone has worked to make it easier for women and minorities to gain access to opportunities. As a fourth-generation member of her family’s real estate business, Stone continues to bring the practice into modern times, removing the bricks that make it hard for women to succeed.

Within her portfolio across SoHo, NoHo and Hudson Square, Stone has created flexible leases so tenants stay longer and can grow into a larger space. Within the male-dominated construction bidding process, she advocates for women and minority-owned businesses.

At GFP Real Estate, she mentors junior team members, giving them hands-on deal exposure if they seek to transition into asset management. And if they want to pursue leadership opportunities, she’s created a culture where that’s possible — and celebrated. She also mentored young women at the Lower Eastside Girls Club of New York for two years, offering academic and personal goal guidance.
